(Annoor) 24 : 43

Haven’t you seen the Lord Allah driving the clouds? Then He brings them together, then He makes them into a mass, and you see the rain emerges from it, and He sends down from the sky mountains of clouds where in is the hails, and He strikes with it whom He wishes and averts it from whom He wishes, the flash of its lightening almost blinds the eyesight.

Only after the invention of the airplane did mankind discover that there are Ice Mountains in the sky. See explanation 2: 164 and 13: 13-14.
